Marcela Urteaga – Chief Elephant Whisperer

Marcela Urteaga is an organizational consultant passionate about learning and change. She holds a BA in Human Relations (Universidad de Monterrey, Mexico) and an MA in Human Systems Intervention (Concordia University, Canada), as well as certificates in Change Leadership (Kotter Inc.), Social Learning (Coaching Ourselves), Change Management (Prosci), Organizational Development, Coaching, Leadership, Art of Hosting, Enneagram, and Human-Centered Design (by IDEO). She has trained with the leading experts in different fields in Organizational Development and Management.
Marcela has 20 years of corporate experience in Organizational Development, Training, Change Management and Human Resources, in large multinational companies such as Monster (the job board, not the energy drink), Panasonic, and FEMSA. She has worked in Organizational Development and Change Management Lead for York University, and currently works as a Human Centered Change Manager for one of the largest software companies in the world.
Marcela’s consulting work includes medium and large universities in the US, a large HR service provider, a major U.S. Non Profit organization, a Trailer manufacturing company and a major, global building materials company. Marcela has lead teams working in change management, HR planning, talent management, organizational transformation and customer service in different companies. Additionally, she has been facilitating workshops and group sessions (face-to-face and online) since 1994, in Mexico, U.S.A., and Canada, to help individuals, communities and organizations develop their competencies and access their inner wisdom.

Andrea Swanson

Andrea loves Complexity and Whole Systems Thinking. She uses these approaches and many more tools in her work as Organizational Development Consultant. She holds a BA in Psychology (Queen’s University) and an MA in Human Systems Intervention (Concordia University), as well as certificates in Alternative Dispute Resolution, Art of Hosting and Personal and Professional Coaching.
Her work with non-profit organizations over the last ten years, has given Andrea experience on working with teams and individuals in organizational change projects, and increased her capacity for innovation. Andrea enjoys working with teams and individuals in organizational change projects, to help them build learning organizations and high-performing, adaptive groups.
